Edo Japan

This was our first time here. Our friends recommended this place for their sushi happy hour. We gave it a try and were very pleasantly surprised! It was even better than they said! Becca was our waitress and she was amazing! The portions are huge. We had to take home a doggie bag! We will definitely be returning and asking for Becca!

Edo Japan was really good. We have been here many times in the past but this was our first time to happy hour. They have excellent priced specials and our server "E" was excellent. She was smiling and personable, and took the time to go over the drink specials with me. Extremely pleased with the food and service. The stuffed jalapeno and calamari appetizers were excellent if you like spicy. We had a great time and will do it again.

Pink Panther roll was delish!! Karen is a wonderful server, very sweet!

We've been regulars at Edo Japan for some time now. The sushi is always fresh, the happy hour menus have great selections and the STAFF IS TOP NOTCH!! Even though most of the staff seems to be teenagers they carry themselves as professionals that have been in the service industry for years. Kudos to the owner for giving these kids a chance and employing them despite their age.I try something new almost every time we go to Edo and have never been disappointed.

Excellent quality food! Excellent Quality Service always. These guys just have better standards and your average Sushi / hibachi

The salmon tower was wonderful. The spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls were awful mush. We also ordered the pepper stuffed shrimp and crab app that was over-sauced so really took away from the taste. The service was quite sad and extremely slow which made us want to get out as fast as possible. Very disappointed since it used to be a great place seven years ago.

Very nice. The sushi and their ramen I had were DELICIOUS. I highly recommend this place.

Ask for the happy hour menu before 6:30! Sitting at the Counter allows you to watch the sushi chefs.

Impressed! Deep fried avocado bomb, and the best house sake I’ve had since my last trip to Japan. Highly recommended for those sea faring souls who are skeptical of land locked sushi spots.*Edit: House sake is now Gekkeikan, the good stuff ran out.

Sushi was really good, we celebrated my kids birthday and the service was great!

Clean place, food was good, sushi was delicate. Lunch Pricing is great. Next time I'll try hibachi. Would rather not have my bottled beer poured into a glass though.

I eat here roughly 2 or 3 times a week.Been coming to this location for several months and it's has always been 5 stars.Based on my last visit were going down to 1 star until something changes.I always get the sushi for lunch. On my last visit the sushi was pathetically small.Literally Kroger has bigger sushi. In the past the rolls were big, filling, and always taste great.On this visit, they only tasted great, as they were not big, nor filling.Whoever the sushi chef was should have been ashamed to put out what I was served.Thin measly slices of sushi rolls.I'm happy to amend my review if something changes.

I frequent this marvelous place from time to time since I love the special atmosphere that is exist in this place. The staff is exceptionally helpful and professional. The service is remarkablywonderfully fast. Also, the food you eat is great. I ate there more than once and I was never disappointed. The price is fair. I highly recommend this place to my friends and family.

I would give it 10 stars if I could. Food and sushi were top notch, the service was exceptional. I'll definitely be back.

This restaurant is my number one restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this restaurant. Whenever I I need a decent meal, this is the place that comes straight to my mind. splendid and all kinds of food and a rich menu.well mannered staff members, and pleasant vibes. And very important, the tariff is reasonable. I tell about this place with no doubt.

I celebrated my PhD earlier this evening in this excellent restaurant. Well we had a tremendous evening and the venue was surely one of the reasons for this fruitful event. The team participated in a sweet manner, the food was extremely good and my guests were so joyful. We shall surely come back again for more celebrations. thanks very much.

ALEX C. IS AN AMAZING SERVER!! I’ve been going here for 6 years and he’s a great addition to the staff. Even during all the Valentine’s Day rush, he was attentive, always smiling, and had the best mannerism.

I gave this place a 2 star because I believe the sushi is over priced for what you get. I ordered a Volcano Roll with Scallops and not only were the rolls tiny but I only got about 4 pieces of the scallops. If I pay $13 i expect a good roll. It was like an appetizer to me. My husband had the same exact experience but with the craw fish. Not interested in going back here for the food. The place is nice and service was great.

Outstanding atmosphere and service. The food was terrific. Our server, Karen, was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the Scottish Salmon Tower as an appetizer. Highly recommend Edo Tokyo.

Great variety of items to choose from on their menu. Service has always been good and they’re one of the few places that are able deep fry my entire sushi roll for me! I eat here at least once a month, high recommend! Have never had any issues with my to go orders and I always have a pleasant experience when I dine in.

This spot simply knows how to satisfy their clients. Constantly with a welcoming mindset. The food is reasonably priced, always fresh and neat.

I enjoyed this spot. It was chic & the vibe was nice. The ambiance, service & food were good. My only take away was the yum yum sauce was watery. I love their sushi and fried rice as well. The bathrooms were alright. They should wipe down the tan chairs at the The smaller tables but we will definitely come back here over our other sushi spot.

The best time to go is during happy hour when they have a good selection of 1/2 priced sushi! We almost always have Helen as our waitress and she is fabulous. Very sweet and attentive.In the evenings, during peak hours service can be slow. It seems they are understaffed during this time of day.

Awesome atmosphere, even better Happy Hour Specials. Food has always been excellent. If you aren’t in the mood for sushi they also have hibachi items which are so delish. Friendly staff and management, if you have never tried it give it a try I do warn during happy hour bar gets jammed packed but it’s deff worth it. Happy Eating!

Really nice Japanese restaurant with a great vibe. Looks small from the outside but once inside you'll see a lot of seating options. Plenty of bar top, high top and family sized tables. Sushi was really good with a variety to choose from.

Meh. I'm not really sure why this place has such high scores. Food was good an service excellent but the menu is very limited and has nothing special.

Update: the manager was very understanding and took care of us! He even gave us future options without dairy or eggUpdate: DO NOT EAT the imitation crab IF YOU HAVE A DAIRY OR EGG ALLERGY! I ordered over the phone and said "dairy/egg allergy" and nothing was mentioned while ordering. I started to eat my rolls with imitation crab, and then my throat started to tingle. I called and asked everything specifically. There is dairy and egg. The person on the phone, didn't even know that mayo isn't considered dairy and had to ask the chef. 🤦 food is great. If you are ordering pick up they are UNBEARABLY slow. They will say 30-45 minutes but its really 1-1 hour 15 minutes. I've been coming for years, here and there to see if the ordering experience will be different but it never changes.

Delicious chicken fried rice. Always good food and good service. Our server Helen is the best. ☺️

My opinion may be a little bias. I grew up in Japan and am accustomed to authentic Japanese cuisine so my standards are really high. It's not that this place was bad, it's just that to me it wasn't very authentic. Food was decent, but didn't bring me back home. It was a very bland and basic meal. Back home, this wouldn't be a very successful restaurant, but I can see it being a decent restaurant here in the states.

Waiter was on point. Sushi was fresh and great portions.

Happy Hour is always the best time to go. Despite its back but it’s worth it. Definitely recommend it. Best in Rockwall to get sushi.

I would love to tell you how fantastic this place is, but then you'd go there! I prefer to keep this gem a secret. The food is wonderful. The service is great. Happy Hour specials keep everyone coming back. Don't go. Just don't. I'm already struggling to find a parking spot.

This place is great!! The food is delicious! I came during peak hours and it was BUSY! Even though it was so busy, our server was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. All the staff were very friendly. Will definitely come back!

So Yumm food. Went with colleagues for lunch. Was a bit busy but staff quickly found a nice place for us to accommodate well enough. I like the food so much but didn't expect such huge one. Had to struggle to finish it off as don't wanna a good Easter. I hate being one. Nice deco inside. Good parking facilities. Good crowd. Gentle music and clean area. What else? Nice service. Reasonable pricing. Will go again. I like Japanese food. ✌️

This place is worth giving a shot. They have big portions for affordable rates. Regularly clean and with excellent atmosphere. Will come back again.

First time for me to visit this bar. I was impressed. The bartender was great. He recommended some snacks that were great. He gave us great pours. Do we will return soon
